Il Mattino have reported that Trippier has agreed personal terms with Napoli - although it says a lot that not only have the likes of HITC and FootballDotLondon not given this story the headline treatment and are burying it in roundup posts, but our good and honest friends at the Daily Wail have pulled their article reporting the story...

Yep...I can see theclub allowing him to get side tracked in thd run up to the CL final <doh>

I said something similar last week about the rumours of Trippier being involved in a swap deal with Amadou Diawara

The main takeaway is that Napoli appear to have genuine interest in Trippier, and they do have previous when it comes to signing our misfit defenders...

I have no doubt they are interested ... it's the bit sbout him being allowed to take time off to agree a deal 2 weeks before the CL final I find weird.

im not buying it...might happen but nothing yet.

reckon a Trippier with a CL winners medal will be able to squeeze a few more pennies out of Napoli for us, something Levy will have no doubted already considered.

Sessegnon Watch
Try not to laugh, but the Daily Express are claiming that Sessegnon is a boyhood Saltypool supporter and is secretly hoping they make a bid for him this summer because something something dream move

Not very secretly if the Express know what he's up to...

Zaha Watch
Several sources have stated we have officially ended our interest in Wilfried Zaha after Palace slapped a £100m price on him...not least because £25m of that fee would be headed to Man Utd

...of course, we're going to be linked with him again by early July

Championship Rando Alert
Our good and honest friends at the Daily Mail are reporting that we're preparing a £10m bid for Leeds' Jack Clarke, almost as if my Vulture Watch teachings are spreading

However, as good as Clarke looks like he could be, I have to ask why we aren't asking Ben Davies to have a word with his international teammate Daniel James while preparing to match Man Utd's £15m offer, as James is that noticeable bit further along in his development

I had similar thoughts. Maybe Poch wants to get in there earlier, and Levy cheaper. Still puzzling if you ask me.

Any truth in this Barcelona RB situation?

Probably not, given Nelson Semedo is one of Jorge Mendes' clients

A-ha!

But, so is Andre Gomes……

So maybe that means we won't be in for him either?

Maybe that means we have more chance of signing……

TIELEMANS !!! <grr>

<laugh>

:smiley-finger007:

I must add, if we get Gomes, or this Ceballos fella instead of Tielemans, I will be less than happy.
