It's looking likely that competing with FLDC we may have JTWBA as John Terry is in talks with WBA's managerial vacancy
Has anyone heard or seen his rubbish? If they are bigger than us why are we in the Premier League and they're in League 1? Living in the 1800's again Alan
If the yellow is just for celebrating a goal that's then disallowed, then I certainly agree with you. A player can't know what VAR will determine. I read it as a yellow for "over-celebrating."
Massive clickbait from Talksport. Lob out a controversial comment and wait for the responses to roll in. Best ignored. That would frustrate the hell out of them.
Here's a nice story about Nathan Redmond and his work with charity. https://ghanasoccernet.com/nathan-r...goal-or-assist-and-flew-to-ghana-to-volunteer
Good article from the BBC on the importance to Villa and Derby of not losing the Championship Final. Villa had about 23 years in the PL, and now, after three years in the Championship they have financial problems. It doesn't seem possible. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48399061
Yes, I remember that Villa were saved 'at the death' for not paying HMRC and I'd read that Derby's owners had bought their stadium etc. oth teams have several high- profile loan players and Chelsea are definitely recalling Abrahams.
Chelsea need to to rebuild their strike force. If Hazard leaves, they're left with aging Giroud and Higuain.
I forgot about the transfer ban. I think they will be able to move players out but not bring them in, if I read it right. They are appealing. We'll see how that goes. Then there is the reduction in the number of players teams can have out on loan which is tentatively scheduled to begin for the 2020-2021 season. They have about 30 out on loan, so they can bring some of them back. They're Chelsea; they can handle it. We should put a buy-out clause in Webber's contract just in case.
I saw something about that earlier - I think he's a cousin or similar of the Citeh owner!! Edit - From the BBC - Sheikh Khaled, a cousin of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour,
Interesting - Champions League without VAR: Man City joy, despair for Man Utd & Spurs? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48366931 <yikess>
Marcelo Bielsa to be in charge of Leeds next Season, it's been confirmed. Big news for Leeds. I had a bit of a feeling he might leave. Although Leeds fans have been irritating this Season, It's probably good news for the Championship and English football. Interesting to see if what he has learned about the league this season, will be put to good use next season, and if they will be a better team.
