I really don't like the sponsor there, a slightly different shade that makes it look like a badly done St Georges Cross rather than stripes.
Yeah agreed and it looks the back might be white which would look horrible imo.
It is, i just looked at it on their store.
On a positive note i learned that they gifted that sponsorship to the charity so i'll give them credit for that. Just a pity its such a **** design.
Nice touch with the charity but that is ghastly. At least ours will look like Saints on the pitch. That won't look like Sunderland usually do.
Not sure if posted or not ... hude improvement. Shame the club didnt see that.

They play for the crest and colours, but they are happy to drop the name of the city they represent.
My first thought on reading that was, that's those three off this summer then.
Nationalist sentiment in Basque country was very strong indeed in the 80s. Not sure if it's still like that, but locals in San Sebastian and Bilbao were once very keen to impress on visitors that they were not Spanish, and Athletic club supporters were equally adamant that they were not Atletico.
There is still a lot of anti Real sentiment throughout Spain, down to the fact that RM were Franco's team.

That’s pretty awful IMO. I think the black top just makes it look a bit different - in a nice way. For those worried about the fit, the kit they wear and the kit they sell are two very different cuts.
Perhaps they could make a range with Spandex for our 'larger' fans. Fats (cough).
