This should scarcely bear repeating, but the Rooney Rule does not stop the best candidate from getting the job. It does not deny anybody an interview who wasn’t already getting an interview in the first place. But there are those – of all races – who just don’t like the feel of it. That’s fine.
All that says is that Black managers aren't making the choices that the Independent wants them to make..... It says that a large percentage of Black, first time managers, when sacked, dont go on to get second jobs........Is it any wonder when they have dickheads telling them not to bother, because they are black and no one will want them because of that fact.......
