I think Arsenal are in a similar position to us but without the pull of the top-top players. The players you lot need will probably all get better offers if they become available. I think Emery will struggle this summer regardless of CL qualification or not, because you need the players that the rest of us are chasing and Arsenal are probably the 6th most attractive team to sign for at this time out of 6.
That’s exactly what it is, there’s no rhyme or reason to the squad. It’ll just carry on with Woodward.
Have to smile at reports that Pogba would be willing to take a pay cut to join Real Madrid ... so would I ... not sure which of us would **** them up the most
needy for what you ****in bellend? posters have given opinions on the futures of their teams and others...ive given one for mine and thats how i see it. wanna make me an avatar/sig and username bet that we finish top 4 regardless of purchases?
thing is it seems quite possible OGS won't last long and then once again you may have signed a bunch of players your next manager doesn't rate. well hopefully anyway
Stop being such a needy fanny, ya needy fanny ffs ... have a snickers .... you know you act like a needy fanny when you're hungry...
Yeah yeah However people are discussing other clubs, the politics and transfer trends etc etc not just dropping transfer names....therefore i was making a comment based on how it goes with my club. simple really Fosse....look at you...back to the wall already putting massive price tags on your players because you know whats coming this summer
Nobody sees Spurs as ‘Little ol Spurs’ mate. You lot adopt that tag yourselves, if you win the CL then I’m sure it’ll hush the ones up who think you’re in a weight above your class who are surely a minority? I think the shouts of ‘Kane will leave’ have become whispers these past couple of years though, which shows that you’re taken completely seriously now.
Mentioned it on the thread on our board, the clubs who'll be competing for the champions league are now fine tuning their teams with players we need to completely rebuild ours (Maguire to City, De Ligt to Barca). We're miles behind on that basis. There's no way Maguire will come to us if he sees he's a like for like replacement for Kompany at City, who can blame him? (do I need to mention the small matter of Stones, Otamendi and Mangala they already have on their books, unused, though? Hopefully they'll leave Maguire to us, I very much doubt it though) As has been said, City are miles ahead and we're also behind Liverpool, the rest of the top six are much of a muchness though. I just don't trust Woodward to get the right deals over the line though. He'll get all starry eyed over Bale now and offer him a million quid a week, then miss out on the centre half (x2), DCM, right back and winger we actually need. If we recruit correctly we'll be back in top four, then onwards from there. If we don't, we're pretty much ****ed. *didn't @luvgonzo do this thread last week?*
Thats a refreshing post mate...ive waited a long time for some honesty about my team...nice one Tel. Little ol Spurs btw is because we are always expected to be the 6th in the 'top 6'...we are always expected to lose our best players...regardless of how the club says otherwise. You know the sketch.
Nowt coming less we want it to, Carabi Citara ... seriously not too fussed if Haarry goes for very daft money ... we need another really top striker and some creativity ... but we are fine at centre-back .
I was a winger when I started mate ...like **** off a shovel.... but also a good long distance runner .... played until I reached 40 and never had any fitness issues even in the weeks before the big op ... irony I guess
I think history points to you selling (or losing) your best players, but you’ve managed to buck that trend a bit more recently. Obviously if Eriksen leaves then it’s a step backwards but no player is bigger than any club, apart from Phil Jones.
aaah a winger....sent a few of them flying into the crowd in my day then watched them limp off, head down.
Anyway **** off Fosse...stop de railing the thread Rumour has it two clubs have approached N'dombele and Spurs are one of them Just the powerhouse we need in the middle to replace all our CM crocks
Lesta baulking at the 40 mill asking price for Tielmanns...hes surley worth that? have Monaco been relegated yet? that will affect the price too Heres hoping Spurs can get him...ill take him and N'dombele and we are good to go Then we need some pacy wingbacks...Ryan Sess looks like he is favouring a mve to us so thats LW sorted. RB needs sorting too..Trippier is gash...no way a RB for a top 6 certainly not a top 4 aspiring team.
Don't believe all you read ... the price is nowt to us ... but they are trying to screw us over on Adrien Silva at the same time ... we want a player swap plus cash ... personally I think both clubs are playing a little brinksmanship...
