If you had done your research properly you would've known that he moved FROM the Mini-Skates to the World famous Saints Academy as a 12 year old because he had ambitions.......Nothing wrong with him moving to the Scousers at the age he did and he had served us well for a good few years.

Did he actually refuse to play? I'm not sure on the whole situation but just because he's a captain doesn't mean he shouldn't want to better his career. He seems like a decent enough guy so I'm sure everything was fabricated by journo's.
