I may need to start looking for jobs down this way in the coming years. Walking to Perranporth today, and then bussing it back.

Portreath tomorrow. The scenery around here is immaculate.

How much longer are you down here for fella ? Have you walked up to the beacon yet ? That’s right on your doorstep.

Cornwall is a wonderful place to live, but it is a low wage economy down here and good jobs can be hard to come by. Depends what you do for work really.

I’m here until Saturday. I haven’t walked anywhere apart from up into the village yesterday morning.

Today is the first walk day, and I hope to a get a number more in by the end of the week.

I have a sought after job. I have interest from a contractor at the moment, and they have contracts in Cornwall.

That’s brilliant to hear mate. Do it fella, you won’t regret it. It’s a good life down here.

St Agnes beacon is a good walk and great views too. You could combine that walk on the way to Chapel Porthleven for your hedgehog ice cream.

Anyway enjoy the walk to Perranporth today mate. It’s a stunning walk up along that cliff. Cracking day out there today too. Enjoy <cheers>

Will do. Gonna set off at about 10. Gonna get the bus back as the missus doesn’t like walking. The longer walks will be on my own haha.

That meant to read ‘chapel Porth’ above. My autocorrect changed it to Porthleven, that’s another town on the south coast (with a superb reef break)

There's a pub right on the beach at Perranporth called 'The Watering hole' you'll see it because it's got big blue and white canopies out the front. Good place for a liquid lunch <ok>

Perfect. I will be certainly visiting it.

I’ll be back in the Driftwood tonight with a pint and my book.
