Agreed. We have to find out how Benkovic will perform in the Premier League. He'll learn nothing up in Scotland and risks thinking he is better than he is.
If we do decide to loan him out again (or Soyuncu) get them in a top Championship side where they'll be given a bigger test over the whole season.
Soyuncu is linked with a loan move to Fenabache - if we do bring in Boyata on a free then we will have a lot of senior CBs.
Fousseni Diabate is a target for Olympiacos.
Personally if Soyuncu is to be loaned out I think I’d be a shame if he went to Turkey. He clearly has talent so minutes in this country or Celtic (like Benk) would surely be more beneficial. Wasn’t the main problem his grasp of the language? That won’t improve if he goes back to Turkey.
With Benkovic, without having looked into it too much, it seems he’s been quite injury prone. Do we know if this is a worrying trait or just recent bad luck?

We paid £12M for Rachid Ghezzal last year so we either need to take a big loss or loan him out
Islam Slimani will be hard to shift again and still has 2 years left on his contract
Monaco want Adrien Silva but could get relegated still. They are only out the relegation zone on goal difference of 1 goal
Eldin Jakupovic will probably get a championship club or move abroad
Callum Elder struggled at Ipswich so will probably have to go back to a League 1 club
Elliot Moore is 22 and probably about 8th choice so will probably leave or stay at Leuven
Bartosz Kaputska has a long term injury so will be hard to shift
Nampalys Mendy has alot of interest but only 12 months left on his contract so he either needs a new contract or be sold. I suspect he will be sold despite what Brendan said
Josh Knight and Darnell Johnson will probably go back out on loan

Also... maybe I’m mad... but if we don’t get Tielemans maybe under a new manager then Silva could flourish here...
