keep being told thats dependent on leeds not going up as he wants to end career there.

creative mid and striker key for me.

fekir, brandt and werner are possibilites.

Problem there is you've got two obvious first choice fullbacks who are amongst the best in the world. (can't think of LB better than Robertson atm)
They'd have to be someone willing to sit on the bench for the majority of the season.

That's why I think someone young or someone on a free.

We have emergency LB or RB in Milner, but I do not want us to be thin in defenders again. One defender on loan to Bournemouth we nearly cry our eyes out.

We do not want to be in arsenals position.

They brought in the licker as cover and bellarin did his knees so they were proper ****ed.

Either promote Lewis and ki or buy proper player

They need to be decent enough for rotation though, not just emergency cover. Klopp loves a good rotation.

We need to stop with the crap Gomez rotating with Trent, it just doesn't work and takes away from how good Gomez is at CB.

Must be someone with experience who could come in and do a job when required, I suppose the problem is that you have to be very fit to play full back for us so older players may struggle to do the job.

We need to remember klopp considers full back one of most important player position.

As such it could be another player who can play a couple positions. Someone who can play lcm

I think so too. Lewis is old enough to know now. Ki is still very young

He's never proved that but klopps proved what he thinks of him over past 2.5 seasons.

Brandt has a rumoured £25m release clause which I am sure elevates him to a popular affordable choice.

only an idiot can see how good our team is, yes the wumming is sad, but as a player not a fan why would we not be a choice?

wages might be only worry, look at sanchez and utd <laugh>

For how long do we have Milner? He surely has to start slowing down soon doesn't he? He's getting old... He's old enough to be RHC's grandson now. That's too old for a footballer.

Still he's been amazing the last few years with us... Long may his legs continue.

1 year if some are to be believed. 0 if others.

Yes you are right he could drop off the cliff but I can see him jobbing for 2 or 3 years easily.

Hes only 32 to be fair. Seems a lot older just for how long he’s been around and fact he’s oldest player in our squad but could easily go for another 2/3 years at this level. He’s not quick so never gonna lose his pace, as long as he keeps himself fit which by all accounts he does, then no reason he can’t be a good player for us

Even if Leeds make it to the Prem. I can't see Milner preferring them over us with what's happening at LFC right now.
A really valuable player to have in the squad. Experience and guile, multi-positional, reliable penalty taker, fit as a butchers dog and knows
and accepts he will not automatically be first XI. Not to old at 32, we need to hang on to Milly for another season (or 2?)

robertson never had that when we signed him, was hoping for game time, but i doubt even he thought he could be as good as he has been.
