    As I remember JWM, I came out of the corn exchange, turned left, and walked/staggered down the road a few yards and crossed over, and there it was. My refuelling depot.
    As said earlier, will check with mates later on and see if they can remember the name of the pub.

    May I be so bold as to enquire why you are showing so much interest please? <posh voice 'cos JWM comes from cambridge>

    The pub you went to is The Red Cow also known as Le Vache Rouge!

    <laugh> Not sure why you feel the need to talk in a posh voice though!

    I was born and bred in Ipswich and moved to Cambridge in my teens and have had the time of my life here ever since.

    The bird that I *ahem* behind the corn exchange spoke posh and she was local. Thought you all spoke like that. Shame she wasn't so clean as she was posh sounding though. <grr>
