Anyone familiar with his radio show would know that he has a running joke about pitching a TV show called 'Monkeys Dressed as Famous People'. I'm guessing this tweet was along these lines. I don't believe he would have even considered the potentially racist connotations and he took the thing down when it was pointed out to him. Stupid, yes, deserving of a sacking, probably, but deliberately racist, I don't think so.

You're trying to defend the indefensible.

He's lied too.
Says he didn't know about their baby, but captions the picture "royal baby leaves hospital".

Pathetic, racist idiot.

Clearly he isn’t a racist, just very stupid to post his joke about posh people like the royal family and the surrounding circus that ensues. A joke that is not that funny but naive, over sensitive fools could interpret incorrectly and make a big PC fuss.

I don't consider myself to be overtly PC or easily offended, but using a monkey in the post and then then trying to convince us that he knew nothing of the royal baby is nothing short of ridiculous.

I believe some people don't like the idea of an American woman of colour marrying into the royal family. Maybe he's one of them.

I'd buy his cries of innocence more if he wasn't saying that he didn't know about their baby.
Does any sane person believe that?

I agree that it was incredibly stupid but don't believe the joke was Meghan’s mixed race and a monkey was the joke he intended

Where did he say he knew nothing of the Royal baby? I've been trying to find it.

ITV news. A reporter asked him if he expected people to believe it and Baker said "you're talking to someone who doesn't even have a mobile phone".

Presumably he never watches the news or talks to anyone either.

He knew there was a Royal baby. To me the only way anyone could reasonably justify his racist joke as being not racist but possibly anti-monarchist would be if he had posted a similar monkey picture at the time when William and Kate left hospital with their two. Have I lost count? I don't recall that happening but happy for someone to prove me wrong about that. His indignation and self-justification does him no credit at all.

could be fun
Anybody watch this rolling weekly ****fest of hateful and inadequate people? My wife insists on watching it, and I am often too idle to stand up and leave the room. But last night I hit upon the brilliant plan of putting headphones on and watching/listening to the brilliant Dr K and his boogie woogie/classical/improvisation antics on the public pianos we see in many big train stations and airports. He’s great, and I didn’t hear a word of what was said on QT, though every time I looked up either Soubry or Farage were talking, both with identical looks of mixed rage, fear and arrogance on their ugly twisted faces.

Here is Dr K, the antidote

I don't know anything about this bloke getting all the flak, and I honestly didn't know any Royal baby was expected now. I overdosed on UK news being seemingly 90% Royals news back in the time of Charles, Dianne and the rest, to the extent that anything coming on a TV or radio about anything to do with them since then has me reaching for the Off button. Same on the web. I saw a recent headline about Harry, I think it was, expecting to be a Dad, but didn't open it and vaguely thought there's going to be a lot of baby Royal stuff in 7 to 9 months or so.

You didn't miss much on QT. More of the same. I see MP's have granted themselves an extra holiday at the end of the month. Await to hear how they justify it after all their inadequate performances.

Meanwhile, Vince and the Lib Dems are gathering in a Camden Square to meet Guy Verhofbrat and shout BOLLOCKS at anyone passing. They've chosen a morning when the grass is being cut, and an angry looking bloke on a ride-on mower has them all pinned in one corner, unable to hear themselves speak for the sound of the Honda engine. Funny.

Dr K is my leader now.

He has always been wrapped up in his own universe anyway . Perfect example of self obsession that sadly has contributed to our own culture going the same way

Make no mistake he has made money out of being nothing more than a parasite on society

Another one that needs a good whack is that Mark Chapman on MOTD ... his comments are always full of fluff and he just feeds off other people’s words before stealing them for himself

It’s everywhere brothers
