As is always said, these things even themselves out so there is little point in bleating about them. But it does seem strange that as soon as a few go against you the refs are all crap!

Be men and except them, not just cry like a bunch of 5 year olds not getting your own way.

guru, i've not seen a truly decent ref for years! yet again you are making stuff up to suit your own crazed logic. i don't suppose all the goals that we conceded last season in injury time count? its just us is it? just cos we happened to score a few in added time... <doh> pathetic. man united do it and its cos they're great - we do it its cos we've cheated! <laugh>

Supers believe me mate we have had some shocking decisions given against us so far this season but we just have to get on with it! Yes Peterboro thrashed us but if the laws of the game were followed correctly the true score should have been 4-1. The Lee Martin sending off was harsh in the extreme as he got the ball and the assistant who was 1 yard away didn't even flag for a foul! But hey ho that's life!
 
All i know is we have had 4 pens in a row against us and 2 reds, we have already smashed the record of consecutive pens against and will add to that no doubt at Bolton.... We are not exactly known as being a dirty team so this makes it even more weird.....
 
Its nothing personal Thai, I just can't except how you lot always try to find a scapegoat for a defeat. Just hold your hands and say, well today wasn't to our day and get on with it, instead of trying to proportion the blame elsewhere.

oh guru, i'm totally with you on that one! you were totally and utterly screwed over by some diabolical decisions in that match. the major difference here is that you were 4-1 down when most of them happened. yes you may argue one of the goals was offside but it was a tricky one for the lino - the kind that you understand why he got it wrong. had you blamed an absolute tonking by peterborough on poor decisions you would have been mental. they had a part to play but your team (if you can call it that) was an abomination. who was the ref that day by the way? might send him a christmas card... ;)
 
exactly warky, the sending off was harsh but hey ho and get on with the game, in every game there will be a dodgy decision but thats what makes football great, you take them out and you lose a huge part of the soul of the game. just don't bleat on about it for the following week.

Quite how he and his linesmen ever made the grade to officiate in League football is beyond me! If I made decisions like that in Parks Football I would get beaten up every week! <laugh>
 
Come on Guru, even you've got to admit that three soft/dodgy pens in four games is going some!

TBH most of us have not actually placed any blame on yesterday refereeing performance for the defeat. We are all painfully aware of the shortcomings of the team. It is evident for everyone to see. The decisions that were made, an we will leave out the last minute elbow incident, did not really impact on the game so much as previous weeks and most of can accept we lost because we were simply not good enough on the day to defend well enough or trouble the keeper.

The first 2 games were different because the decisions made (not the one's not made) changed the games dramatically. Your portrayal of the POSH game can not compare with either of those games, the outcome would still have resulted in a heavy defeat.

It's the first 2 games that are really annoying but yes we need to learn to live with it, learn to play the same way and hope for the best.

Little or no point in slagging each other off about it though, it changes nothing. Referees have and will always make wrong calls but I am sure you can appreciate how frustrating it can be when it happens in every game to your own team?

Yes but it isn't just you that suffers is it! <doh> that's the point being made here!

Look at the Stoke v Liverpool game on Saturday. Liverpool were denied at least 2 stone bonking penalties and were suckered by a dubious penalty decision given to Stoke.
 
i don't know where they get these refs from warky! on a plus point, tamas has been charged for violent conduct by the FA and halsey has apologised for missing the incident. fair play mr halsey - you had a mare yesterday but at least you've had the balls to come out and apologise for it - i wish more would follow suit <ok>

What did you make of Poll's piece JWM?
 
I personally hope Lambo does a week of drills 11 v 10 men and give our boys proper simulation classes, we could even appoint Jurgen Klinsman as our head coach..
We can t change the prem so we have to learn how to play like the Italian national side..

TBH I haven't read it but fair play to Halsey for admitting he got it wrong afterall he is only human!

The point Guru is making is that bad refereeing is part and parcel of the game and we just all need to accept that mistakes are made. I am sure in time that these decisions will start going for us both but in the Norwich case I think there is a big element of naievity!

ok guru, you may as well piss off with this nonsense! did you even watch the match? he had an absolute stinker!!! even the baggies fan i talked to after the game felt we got a really rough ride from him. you support ipswich, you hate norwich - thats fine - but you are so wrong about the elbowing incident and his performance as a whole that it is clear to everyone reading this that your only quest in all this is to side against norwich, no matter what
