    Great game from both, only two that bothered in the first half


    Simpson unlucky not to get a goal..

    Tiote what a ****ing goal! didn't know he had it in him, he's shooting is awful then BOOM left foot screamer

    On another note, Who thinks Barton deserves to get picked for England? Isn't the squad going to be announced today, he deserves it! But he ain't cause he's Joey Barton :( :smiley-finger007:

    Simpson was atrocious in the first half, he was constantly caught out of position and at times nowhere near the back line where he should be.

    Second half he was great, put in a lot of tough tackles and got forward extremely well.

    It was a game of two halves apart from Simpson and Tiote other players were poor in the first half.

    Second half we were a different team. <magic>

    He deserves that, if only to prove more and more critics wrong

    He knows where his heart is, and he's a clever man. It can only be good for the Northeast after the whole Carroll debacle
