Queens Park Rangers to name former Brentford boss Mark Warburton as their new manager this week

Mark Warburton will be named manager of Queens Park Rangers this week.
The 56-year old former Brentford and Rangers boss will succeed Steve McClaren who was sacked last month.
Warburton was selected ahead of rival candidates such as Michael Appleton, Tim Sherwood and Gary Rowett with the hope he can transform the Loftus Road club into Championship promotion contenders next season despite a limited budget.

QPR finished the season in 19th place with a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday and caretaker John Eustace is expected to stay on as Warburton's assistant.
Warburton has been out of work since he was sacked by Nottingham Forest on New Year's Eve in 2017.
QPR have been in the Championship for three seasons having been relegated from the Premier League in 2015.
