Brighton can’t score for toffee so let’s hope our generous defence doesn’t offer them that today.

A win takes us within one point of the Spuds. Depending on the result of the Chelsea v Watford game, we could be going into the last game looking to secure either 3rd or 4th

Must win today.
 
We could really do with Chelsea dropping points. Desperately need a favor from Watford.

If Watford turn up they could beat Chelsea. Even a draw would be a great result for us.

As long as we win ....

Its been a crazy season. Despite our abysmal away for, we still have a chance of finishing 3rd.

A draw is good, if we win. I think we can keep ahead of Chelsea on goal difference. But we need to beat Brighton by a few goals.

It’s mental. Losing 10 games this season we should be out of it by rights, thankfully Chelsea have been just as inconsistent and the Spuds are doing their usual bottle job.
 
Chelsea winning 3-0 means we have to rely on either them or Sp*rs messing up on the last day. I think our goal difference will be inferior to both. We will beat Brighton I think.
 
All started with one of the worst passes I've ever seen from Mkhi followed by a standard piece of **** from Xhaka. Those two need to be toast from this club.
 
Can someone please explain to me what exactly Emery brings to the table? Why are fans calling for Sarri's head, and Emery seems safe? If Sarri had ended the season in 5th with no trophy - I can bet he would not be there next season. Why do we as Arsenal fans set our sights so low. I thought getting rid of Wenger meant it would be easy to get rid of a manager taking us backwards? Why persevere with this bloke when it is so obvious he is Wenger Light. Really, you do not need to have millions for me know whether you have a sound financial sense, imho it starts from how you spend your penny!
 
added to our striker conversion rate must rank the lowest in the premier league - how many chances do they do need to score??

This lot don't deserve CL. Major clear out required. Beginning to have second thoughts about Emery myself.If the Kronke's don't put in some serious investment in the team then they need to be the target of the fan's anger.

Well time for some harsh truths.

The league campaign - considering we didn’t get top 4 is a complete failure.

I am still giving emery time, but that’s just a fact - he failed his first objective.

Only way he can have success this year is now winning the Europa league.
 
I want to say I can't believe we've blown it to 17th placed Brighton, but I can.

These players have let us down so many times the last few years and the reality is, they thought they just needed to turn up and win today because Brighton are already safe. There was no urgency or desire to truly win that game. We were coasting. We only showed more urgency when it was 1-1 and we realised we were up **** creek.

It was an abysmal performance all round.

What a tepid end to the season.

I also thought Emery's subs killed the game because we were putting a lot of pressure on their defence and they looked like they were about to cave. Guendouzi offered nothing and kept giving away cheap fouls, Iwobi had no support and Kolasinac may as well have not been on the field.

We're gonna have to go all out for the Europa now.

**** this season.
 
I give up on this team, really give up! Thought, we could not sink any lower than towards the end of the Wenger era, this guy will not win anything with Arsenal!
