    At the beginning of the season, I was reading on here how you guys were favourites to go straight back up with a record points tally. I had a little chuckle because, as you have found out, it's not that easy.

    Some Sunderland fans were absolutely living it large with the expectation that they would stroll back up to the Championship.

    They were the minority in fairness. Most really didn't know what to expect any more.
