Laurel and Hardy from that era, and Harold Lloyd is massively underrated imo. I found Chaplin films a bit boring tbh.

It can be as entertaining, but in the same way that League 2 can be entertaining if you have a vested interest in a team at that level. It's not the same level as mens because the physical abilities differ.

I know that, and it's especially popular over your neck of the woods.

The point I'm making is the BBC (PC brigade) giving it more or less equal billing to the men. They'll be proposing equal pay next.

Football club I coach at has a great girls section, I'm definitely not putting it down per se.

well, they've created the W series in motorsport to give women a chance, despite them actually having the natural physiological advantage of being, on average, smaller and lighter, therefore faster.

I used to like the women's football back in University. I used to prefer watching it to the men's. Especially since our Uni stadium was so small you could always sit right up front and close to action.

My favourite part was the thigh injuries when they would push the shorts all the way up to spray it with the magic numbing spray....


... I'm not proud of my younger self... <laugh>

I hate the Beatles, that was always an unpopular opinion. I would never ever learn or play anything to do with the Beatles music, I thought their songs were shhite and still do. I'm not knocking thier individual talent, but more what they produced as a group.

I've never been a massive fan, but there is no doubting the seminal importance of the Sgt Pepper album.
