I hope Ainsworth doesn't get the job with the club in it's current state. He could ruin his reputation that he built up as a player here.
I would like Phil Parkinson to walk away from Bolton, come to us as he is used to dealing with lots of crap and maybe bring one or two players with him.

I get the impression Ainsworth loves the Club and would jump at the chance to Manage us. If true I don't think he'll be too concerned about his reputation.

Yes but I suspect he knows the Board would **** all over him
as they did with Holloway
as soon as it stopped working assuming of course it ever started to go right in the first place. They would then lie about it as they did when refusing to offer Warnock a permanent job and most despicably of all with Holloway second time around that he needed time to grieve because his mother had passed away.

When will Ainsworth be announced? Do we have to wait until 1st June? I’m guessing Wild Thing will be our next boss.

Stick with Eustace, he's doing well.
He isn't I'm afraid. Won 2 Drawn 1 and lost 4 since he started including three home defeats is not even a new manager bounce. He may be the best or even the only candidate who is willing to work here next season but unless someone can point to any gushing remarks by Tony Fernandes that he has found his next dream manager and/or that he was impressed by his skill at FIFA 20next one or Football ManagerXX (don't know the name) the Board do not want him and are still looking.

At the start of the season, McLaren said we were likely to finish where we have baring in mind the restrictions we have had imposed on us.
I wonder whether we will wait to see what other clubs decide to do with their managers.
I would like Phil Parkinson from Bolton to take over, or Tony Pulis or even Colin. I think we need a manager that can motivate and get players in believing that they are better than what they are.
Accrington Manager has done very well on hardly any money, selling off his best players and surviving in Div 1, Mark Robins has done very well at Coventry as has the Bury manager. All of these managers have faced pretty trying times at their clubs.
Let's hope that the next manager in is given longer than the 12 months we currently appear to give as during this year they appear to be sorting out the mess left behind from the previous manager.

You got to look further than the results, especially once he helped accomplish Championship survival, the only result that mattered while he was caretaker. Since then winning games has been less important for him than giving games to young players and preparing for next season, starting Walker and leaving out Freeman made this pretty clear. I think his team set ups, substitutions, the way we have played, and performances have continually improved since he took the job, and it would be about as daft as firing Colin not to offer him the opportunity to continue this.
