Barca seemed to be trying to contain the game and avoid conceding. Very little commitment to getting forward.
Dangerous game, but Liverpool didn't do enough to test ter Stegen and now Messi's done what Messi does.
Still time to nick an away goal, though. 2-1 would be a decent result.

True, though I'd argue the possession point (generally, not in this game specifically). I'd have thought you have to work harder and close down more if you don't have the ball to be honest.
 
Barca should drop off and defend the 2 goals now, and entice the RS even further out, leaving them open for the counter.
