What a powerful and emotional address Poch gave to the waiting media, ahead of our first leg against the awesome Ajax!

His words could have been the inspirational urgings of a general to his troops in the moments before they meet a hail of bullets, on some distant field of glory!

I am reminded of Churchill, Shakespeare's Henry V, Cantona's famous "when ze seagull follows ze trawler" monologue... it is pure heroism!

I bet you lads shed a tear or two, yeah.

Well, you've heard the rallying cry. Now, it's time for you lads to get behind Poch and his young lions, and urge us on to honour and victory.

Cry, "For Poch! For Harry (Kane)! For England! "

Poch's speech is as timeless as Bill Nicholson's "there's glory for us even if we get dry humped" speech.

You can understand why us Yids love Poch.
