We make it hard enough to put away any opportunities we manage to make, but missing penalties (that we sadly, desperately, need) is unforgivable.
Whoever comes in needs to sort out our defence and make us hard to score against; build a creative midfield and make sure our forwards have the killer touch in front of goal.
Sounds like he has an impossible job with our set-up.
If we drop another two places next season, we are down in a season long relegation battle!

Sad to say but I’m glad I didn’t drive down today. Shacked up in the Groes Inn outside of Conwy, on 4th pint of JW Lees Bitter and just had a snack of Black Pudding fritters with chilli jam in front of a roaring fire. All the while it’s chucking it down outside and I am looking forward to dinner with the parents before heading back to Aus on Monday.

Take the team with you and make sure they have one-way tickets...

There were positives today in good performances from some players that maybe with us next season. Manning seems to get better with each game at LB, Shodipo did very well when he came on, BOS very good until he sees the goal, but surely that will come, Eze good in parts out of position wide midfield, Furlong solid, Lumley good saves and clearances outside his area, Scowen and Luongo pretty much controlled central midfield. Hemed did well but will probably be gone. It looked a bit of a stretch up for Walker to me though he worked hard. And a miracle, Smith won a dodgy pen, but should of scored.

Disappointing again & missed chances, Wells should’ve stepped aside & leave pen to someone else, not sorry season over at HQ & 11 home defeats not acceptable & wish them well who comes in as next manager because it’s not going to be easy.

Apart from the black pudding fritters that sounds fantastic! Enjoy and safe travels.

Team didn't play bad. Wells was awful but insisted he took the penalty.. when Manning was Rotherham penalty taker early in the season..scored several.

Glad Wells is not ours.

Walker, BOS Shodipo, Scowen, Luongo, Furlong, Manning, Lumley did not play badly.

But we need a striker so so much (Chair apparently had another great game today...let's hope it is him)

I thought Eze was poor in both positions

No, Col. I am depressed by what I have seen today, and all season, but the fact is that the team most certainly deserved to win today.
Only Wells needs to have a look at himself in the mirror. He won't be here next season, anyway.
Many positives, many good things to be positive about for the future, but still very depressing because of the result.

If they watched the game and you didn't, why not take their words for it? The stats suggest we dominated, but couldn't finish.

I rest my case.

I'm sure some of you will still be saying the same thing, even if we get relegated next season.

A half decent performance but all of our usual weaknesses on show. A brittle defence, few shots anywhere near the target and a complete inability to break. On the plus side we did pass the ball better today and the youngsters all did ok which is what we're going to need in spades next season. We can't hope for more positive football while Luongo remains at the club IMO.

What bleeding case?

I wasn't able to get to the game today, so am unable to comment on it, other than to interpret 21 goal attempts to their seven as being fairly dominant. You, however, believe than you know better how we played than people who did actually see it. Your sense of self-importance knows no bounds.

No self importance here.

Calm down you silly old sod, you'll give yourself a stroke!

I'm perfectly calm, Col. Just get tired of your pomposity. If you believe that you are a better judge of our performance today than people that actually watched the game, I'd say that you do indeed have a sense of self-importance.
