By the way, I'm not saying OGS will be a huge success but I do welcome a United legend being the manager after years of LVG and Mourinho stinking up the place. You make dozens of predictions Hilary despite the fact that your football knowledge is ridiculed on almost a daily basis. Occasionally you will come up with something blindingly obvious that turns out right ie Leicester will finish lower than first place in the season after they were champions. You're like a blind monkey flinging **** around hoping to hit a target. Eventually you hit the outer circle but by then you're covered in the **** you've thrown at yourself.
Pep Guardiola. Won 6 La liga titles, 3 European trophies and a bunch of domestic cups with Barcelona as a player. Then won 3 la liga titles, 2 champions league trophies and a clutch of domestic cups as Barcelona manager. This claim by kipper that ‘legends’ don’t make good managers could get messy @BobbyD
Zidane. 1 la liga, 3cls in 2 and a half seasons. Luis enrique. 2 la ligas, 1 cl in 3 seasons Ancelotti. 1 serie a and 2 cls in 8 seasons with milan. Even di matteo did more than hoch poch at chelsea with a cl win
Good shout. Won the double with Arsenal as a player and then won 2 titles, the FA cup and a Euro pot with Arsenal as manager. Then went on to **** spurs over.
Johan Cryuff. Won a ton of pots with Ajax and Barcelona as a player and then again as manager of both clubs. This isn’t going very well for @Hoddle Is A God
He hasn't said anything that's even vaguely controversial. He didn't say all legends fail, but that many do. They do. Thierry Henry did it in about 10 minutes at Monaco this season, for example. Maybe he'll get a shot at replacing Emery next year, though?
Tbf to Henry, that Monaco side was stripped of all its talented players and he was on a hiding to nothing with what was left. It's a travesty what's happening at that club and how far they've fallen.
Thierry Henry to to replace Emery at Arsenal next year. I say it won’t happen. Get it written up @Spurlock
