Yeah our only two good strikers are Ba and Best, and Ba isnt in very good form at the moment. Really cant wait for Ben Arfa to come back.
I'm sorry mate but it was your lot who initially claimed to have a better squad! It's my honest opinion that i'd take our starting 11 over yours(no suprise i suppose), and what with so many of you thinking you'll turn us over so easily, it needed to be said. I suppose i can't blame you for thinking you'll win, you've had a good start, and can't be expected to know of the buzz and atmosphere surrounding our squad/club currently(besides, we're "little" QPR who lost to Wigan, right?). Just be aware, everyone's going to be really fired up tomorrow(team + fans), it's the new ownership's first home game- so i hope you're all well prepared!
Does anyone think it's good that we've got QPR the first game after buying 6+ players? I'd rather now than in 3 or 4 weeks time when they've gelled a bit more...
In my experience, this will be in our favor, party poopers, anti-climax and all that. I don't think it'll be easy as I've said before, but I think we'll edge it.
Probably true, but I think you would rather have played us before we got them. If you think our defence is bad now .......
Kenny: Krul - Being biased here! Young: Simpson - Even to be honest.. probably Young edges it with his experience but he doesn't have many years left to play at the top-level while Simpson can keep improving. Gabbidon: Taylor - Hands down. Ferdinand: Colo - Hands down. Traore: R Taylor - Judging by Raylor's current form and Traore's poor display against Man United.. I'll just about say Raylor! Barton: Cabaye - Both two very good technical players with great passing ability and box-to-box ability. Barton's proven at this level.. so I think he edges it! Faurlin: Tiote - Hands down. Although I do rate Faurlin! SWP: Jonas - ... Taraabt: Obertan - ... DJ: Ba - In terms of ability.. Ba! Bothroyd: Best - On current form!
I think you need to come to terms that we're favourites and you're the underdogs. I personally think it'll be a close game but we're the established prem team and you're the promoted side, simple.
Yeah I was being honest. I think Gabbidon and particularly Ferdinand are quite poor but our forwards aren't great either and Pardew likes to shut up shop after we score. If you play well I'd be the first to admit it. I reckon our midfield and defence will just edge it though. I don't buy the "newly promoted" crap mind. We got that **** tag last season and we thumped Villa 6-0, S*nderland 5-1 and West Ham 5-0 so the game is anyone's to take really.
That's just typical of the bookies though. I'm not backing us for the win if I'm being honest, I don't think they have the far better team either though.
Noone said anything about QPR being 'little QPR' apart from you You're a good team and i think you'll stay up but we have the edge fo sho. Be a good game though...or a dire 0-0
Part of the reason why there isn't a great QPR input here is that we haven't seen our team play! - at least, not the team that will go out tomorrow. I doubt there will be more than about two on the pitch tomorrow that played for us last season. Since Reading are playing two of our ex-players at the moment, you may as well as us about the Reading team..In fact I know Reading better... What is clear is 1. Newcastle are favourites 2. QPR fans will be a lot more knowledgeable about their team come 10.00pm tomorrow night
