Match Preview
Probably fair to say both these sides have had a downturn in fortune over the past few years. After winning the league cup in 2013, Swansea even experienced European football, beating Valencia 0-3 at the Mestalla Stadium before going out in the last 32 to Napoli. After Monks sacking as manager in 2015 they went through Francesco Guidolin, Bob Bradley, Paul Clement and Carlos Carvalhal. They now have Graham Potter in charge, in his first job in England after managing in Sweden.
Swansea go into this games after two 3-1 wins, one against Stoke and against Boro. After our draw against Milwall most are now pretty confident we won't get sucked into the relegation scrap, but a few more points would be lovely just to eliminate that thought from the back of our minds. We'll need to watch out for Oliver McBurnie, who is on 19 goals already this season, so obviously poses a threat.
I'll add more team news when/if it goes on the official, but only another 3 games at Loftus Road left this year, so enjoy those who can make it, and...

R’s face in form Swans
John Eustace will take charge of his first home game as caretaker manager against Swansea on Saturday.
Following the R’s disappointing defeat at Norwich last weekend, Eustace’s side produced a much improved performance against Millwall at the Den in the week, which saw them come away with a point.
QPR's gaffer will be hoping they can back that performance up with a win against Swansea but Rangers know they are coming up against a team that have won their last three games and one that still has an outside chance of making the play-offs.
The Swans are situated in 14th place, seven points off the play-offs with six games remaining.
However, on the field, supporters of Swansea City will be fairly satisfied with their transitional campaign which has seen a high turnover of players and a new manager brought in.
Graham Potter has tried to implement an attractive style of football to help Swansea re-find their identity which was previously so successful in establishing themselves as a Premier league outfit.
There has been some teething problems throughout the season, which has not allowed Swansea to consistently pick up victories, but the south Welsh side are finishing the campaign well and will be going all out for victory at Loftus Road.
When the two teams met at the Liberty Stadium back in September, it ended up being a comfortable 3-0 victory to the hosts.
