In all seriousness I have worked with some gays and been friends with them , all of them had issues with drugs alcohol and depression, the suicide rate is significantly higher too as well as a much higher rate of HIV and other STD s.

It can be a very risky lifestyle as most men are sluts and long term gays that take a length usually lose control of their sphincter and need to put Tanpons up there bumholes.
Plus they probably get **** all over the bed sheets.

I bet they don't teach the kids that, it's not all about having good dress sense and acting camp.
What would you do if your son told you he was gay, serious question?

Is it ok if Teachers stick to teaching my kids Maths, English some Science a bit of Art and ill stick to being the Dad?

Thanks

One of my cousins is gay - he and his partner retired at 40. He was a partner at Accenture before he retired. He paid cash to pay off his parent's mortgage. He is now a part time actor. He likes a drink but doesn't do drugs and is not depressed. Has been with his partner over 30 years - his circle of gay friends are not too dissimilar if not as financially successful. I realise that this may come as bit of a shock to you Si and that you will be highly resentful of any suggestion that this might be reality and normality for many gay people.

Maybe there is a higher incidence of depression and suicide among those whose parents and friends find it difficult to accept them being gay.

New Zealand rugby player in trouble for saying gays will go to hell

Once again the bit quoted is about gay folk, although he included others (basically non Christian's)

Probably get a tv gig like hoddle did

He should know as a sportsman you simply can't say this ****.

My point though is that he didn't pick on gay folk specifically, yet that's the headline.
Because gays are a protected class against discrimination and none of the other groups that he mentioned are.
He didn't mention Muslims, for example, while it's apparently fine to lump atheists and fornicators in with drunks, thieves, liars and adulterers.
It's also not the first time that he's posted something anti-gay.

I don't think I could marry a Muslim.

From my own experience even the ones that are Westernised are still fundamentally devout.

I don't think my way of life and outlook on life is compatible.

I've had a relationship with one and we discussed marriage and she asked me would I be willing to convert?

I didn't answer her but it was pretty obvious what my feelings were.

There was not even a discussion of whether she would become a Christian or agnostic.

Her way of the highway - I've had a similar discussion with another woman too with the same outcome.

Its easy to say it wouldn't be an issue to marry someone from a different faith or someone with a disability (yes I know its not a great comparison) but in reality it is a very big thing.
