A ****ty Friday night game for those grease monkies at Sky.

Our best defender is injured.
Our best midfielder is injured

Would love to beat them purely to beat Bredan Rodgers.

Sorry ACS - no pictures - can't be arsed.

Hopefully this is an omen for the game:
Moment magpie spots an injured fox and starts pecking at its wounds while it lies in the street

Big game but the next 2 vs Brighton and Southampton are must wins. Hopefully we can sneak a point out of this one!

1-1 Miggy to get off the mark with a late equaliser!

This will be a hard fought 0-4 win to the Magpies Rondon 2 Alan Shoulder 1 Jim Pearson 1
Met Jim Pearson a few years back outside the players entrance at Goodson Park when he was greeting the corporates. I hasten to add I wasn’t a corporate I was just having a look round.

Couldn’t resist raising his penalty miss against our lowly neighbours but he’d obviously come across this loads of times in the past and quick as a flash responded if Shearer was able to miss a penalty against them then he was in good company.

Anyone else want to see us go back to 4 at the back this week?

Personally I'd drop Ayoze for this game - gone quiet for the last few games.

Back 4 picks its self, Yedlin, Schar, Lacselles, Dummet

3 in the middle of the park from Ki, Diame, Hayden, Shelvey - where this game will be won on Friday night.

Ritchie in front of Yedlin will give him better protection and Miggy on the opposite wing,

Rondon up top until half time/60mins if he is as bad as last week, then get Muto on.

I’d just go attacking 442.

Dummett, Lascelles, Schar, Yedlin
Ritchie, Shelvey, Ki, Almiron
Rondon, Perez

Back four would be good.
4-4-1-1 is the formation I would go with.

I hope we get a result as I'm driving back from London tomorrow evening and couldn't stand another evening of abuse from the Melton inbreds whilst I'm enjoying a bottle of the dog.
