Should UK schools stop teaching children about LGBT rights ?

Yeah I kind of agree. From what I'm seeing the issue is more about what has been attempted to be "sneaked" through rather than anything else.

The moffat guy has as one of his "guidelines" that "we are not asking the governor's permission to do this work"

And

"Parents should be told we teach no outsiders ..."

He tries to cite laws that have no foundation in statute.

Or that is one argument anyway.

And therein lies the problem.

Tbh the HT should've been the experienced hand in all this and guided events better.

But like I said before, I'd be very surprised if this situation between parents and school happened in isolation. The fact nobody saw this problem in the first place, and the fact the parents were so vocal about it, suggests there is a wider problem between the school and parents. You just don't get this where the HT, DHT and staff generally have a good relationship built up over time. Instead what we're seeing is possibly a culture where parents generally don't feel included and the situation is best described like the dripping tap and then something like this situation sends everything over the edge.

Yeah the situation seems to be a real cauldron of issues

As I mentioned earlier there is the whole Trojan stuff and PREVENT stuff thrown in

There is definitely more to this than just parents v teachers (purposefully avoiding the Muslim v LGBT thing here)

Aethiest would not feel comfortable with their kids marrying homosexuals.

Dribble calls bigotry

Muslim would insist their kids don't marry homosexuals

Dribble is tolerant to his intolerance.

Massive ****ing hypocrite <doh>

As predicted.

It could be, but it's been 6 years. WTF has the HT and senior leadership team been doing in that time to rebuild an inclusive environment for parents <laugh>

I'm not in any real category. I'd rather my son have a bird than a bloke, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

He's got a bird at primary school and WhatsApp's the life out of it so I'm thinking I'll be ok.

That's pure honesty, got nothing against gay people, just rather my boy get some punnanni.

Are we still blaming the school for offending the Muslim bigots ?

Standard response.

In all seriousness I have worked with some gays and been friends with them , all of them had issues with drugs alcohol and depression, the suicide rate is significantly higher too as well as a much higher rate of HIV and other STD s.

It can be a very risky lifestyle as most men are sluts and long term gays that take a length usually lose control of their sphincter and need to put Tanpons up there bumholes.
Plus they probably get **** all over the bed sheets.

I bet they don't teach the kids that, it's not all about having good dress sense and acting camp.
