Where has Eriksen said he wants to move. Oh, that’s right, he hasn’t.

Even 6 months can change everything. And sign or no sign they still don’t get the player for 12 months. If you’re Real or Barca you want now, not next year.

Levy is the past master at screwing top prices out of keen buyers. Eriksen would be no different.

He hasn't signed a contract extension yet, if he doesn't then he can sign a pre-contract agreement with another club and go on a free and there's **** all Levy can do about it.

If he does go this summer, then I agree you'll get good money for him, but no way near £100m

We’ll see.

Whoever he signs with would still have to wait 12 months for him.

In the future I think more players will just run contracts down. They will sign a 4 year deal and then move at the end of it. It’s in their and their agents interest to do so as they have more leverage on wages they can earn rather than earning a fee for the selling club.
Clubs signing a player will run the risk that they get no return for their outlay, so perhaps the transfer fee madness will slow down. Can you imagine your club spending £80m on a player, plus his wages, then he walks after 4 years for free !!
Why don’t clubs sign players for longer as that would stop this

Because no one wants to pay granit xhaka 90k a year for 10 years.

Spurs manage to spend 11m on agent fees even though they have signed no one.

I saw that too. So how does that work then ? Spurs spend £0.00 on transfers yet manage to spend exactly the same as Arsenal on agents fees despite us spending £73.3m on transfers.

Probably includes a lot of frog kissing.

I would guess it is fees given to agents when current players signed new deals. Does look like super sick business man Levy got rinsed though
