Remind me again who got beat 3-1 by some itinerant bunch of Froggies from the arse end of Ligue one?,,..

Calm your tits mate, it's only half time in that tie.

Would you agree that the [HASHTAG]#spursy[/HASHTAG] tag is justified, after going from title challengers to praying you hang onto top 4 in the space of two weeks ?

I’ve given my take on it. No doubt we took our foot off the pedal in the second half and paid for it; but this is a very thin squad that has had several tired players being forced to play 2 games a week very often as any feasible replacements have been either injured or just not available.

The lack of investment in the squad, relative to that of our rivals, is now showing.

As for tits. You made 1st class ones of yourselves on Thursday. It’ll take some retrieving.

Yeah we were diabolical on Thursday, our task is clear now we need to score at least 2 to progress.

Partly it's to do with your squad depth, but a big part is also about your mentality. This isn't the first time this has happened, every season for the last few years when it looks like Spurs might actually do something you fold when it comes to the crunch. It's happened too many times for it to be a coincidence, so is it the mentality of the players or the manager ?

The problem you have is that until you actually win something, you're always going to have that nagging feeling that any minute Spurs will crumble.

Mentality and squad depth are linked though. We’ve only been able to afford to buy cheaper players so far. They are performing above expectations but expecting the 8th most expensive squad in the league to win trophies is not realistic.

Apart from the 15/16 season I never felt that we had what was needed to actually win the title. We came close, but fair play to Leicester they kept going and we ran out of steam.

I think it almost becomes self fulfilling. The longer you don’t win something the harder it becomes to win something. There does, however, appear to be a problem at times with attitude, mentality etc.

It’s very frustrating that we can go to the cauldron that is Westfalenstadion, and despite the noise and hostility, play very well and come away with a win - the only home loss they’ve suffered this season. Then 5 days later let ourselves down with a lackadaisical second half performance at Southampton.

Spurs were 10 points ahead of us recently. Now it's down to 1 point and their next game is against Liverpool

Spurs Moura celebrates with the ball up his shirt like he has won the game, what a cock

From where I'm sat Tottenham are still occupying 3rd in the league AND in a position where they can win it.

All is going to Poch's plan:

Just over 1 month ago Spurs were 10 points ahead of Arsenal. <laugh>

Balague reckons this Spurs team have already peaked and are now going backwards.

The stats back him up

With 61 points so far this season, Tottenham have picked up three points fewer than after 31 matches a year ago. It is seven points lower than it was two seasons ago at the same stage.
