Of the ones in the poll it has to be Fawlty Towers and The Office. The Young Ones was great but of its' time, watched it again recently and it never had the same impact as when I was younger. Oh ****, I forgot Blackadder, that is as good as the other two.
The Mighty Boosh Anything with Harry Hill Little Britain The Royle Family Benidorm Stick the ****ing lot in the bin.
I never got why anyone liked the Royal family and Harry Hill is a complete ****ing mystery to me. The rest is just crap noise...the Rick Astley of comedy.
You also forgot Steptoe and Son which is ****ing great. About as politically correct as a slut getting anal gangbanged at a Feminism Convention as well nowadays.
God...completely forgot about that one...ain't seen it in years...was probably a teenager the last time I saw it.
That does not answer the question dumbass... Spent my 20s being in love with the Northern woman in Fraser ... Daphney?
You missed out Allo’ Allo’ and Last Of The Summer Wine. The sight of Compo, Cleggy and Foggy almost drowning in that submarine fashioned from an old bath tub, as Nora Batty adjusted her wrinkled brown tights, was hilarious stuff, on those balmy Sunday nights, back in the 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties.
You missed Keeping Up Appearances mate. The "bucket/bouquet" gag never got old. Who's you personal preference, Mrs Bucket or Nora?
Harry Enfield, The Fast Show, Absolutely, Big Train, Spaced... ****, how could I forget The Comic Strip?, some of those are pure genius
I guess not many under a certain age would've seen Sgt Bilko (I think I saw the repeats on BBC2 way back in the 70/80s) but Phil Silvers was fantastic in that.
