    I see spain and France as our main competition in this.

    Anything can happen in football but Germany aren't the threat they were

    Disagree with that fella. Germany will always be the ones to beat at the majors. They'll generally go through a little transition period every 15 years or so, but they're a major force, make no mistake.

    I'd say it's Spain that are the ones that are dropping off.

    The difference is the choice of creative attacking players we have now imo. That was missing in previous squads. That plus the manager.

    They didn't exactly set the world on fire in the world cup, and they aren't doing brilliantly atm. It's now that they are transitioning as you say. They may come good for finals next summer, but I reckon it won't be until the next world cup that we'll see them at their best again.
