Sunday 24th March 3pm
U18 Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

It's finally here. The first stadium test event is on Sunday and it's not a friendly, which is a bit strange.
The U18s face their Southampton counterparts and a win would take them very close to the top.
They're currently in 2nd position behind the Goons, who have played 2 more games.
Win the games in hand and the unbeaten side would take the lead with a handful of games to play.

It's all a little academic though, isn't it?
The winner of the 2018/19 U18s Premier League Title isn't going to be remembered for long.
It'll go down in the history books somewhere, but there's a bigger memory to be made.
First players to play a match at the new stadium? That'll leave an impression.

Something seems extremely appropriate about our academy players breaking the hallowed turf.
The club's attempts to move forward have brought them into sharper focus.
The training facilities and youth investment were like a first step on the road to this new ground.
Harry Kane is the first team's talisman and now this side will be lead out by another youth player.
Ryan Mason's playing career was cut tragically short, but it seems right that he'll lead out the kids on Sunday.

What's everyone looking forward to most from the new ground?
Who's going and are you sitting in your regular seat or have you picked out something different?
Are you resuming the old routine or starting a new one? Chick King or Beavertown Brewery?

If you haven't got your ticket for either test event and are thinking of leaving your first trip to the ST/\DIUM, then you might be interested in this...

I've heard her speak on a TV advert and she makes Janet Street-Porter sound like Joanna Lumley. Also, does she share those gnashers with Jurgen Klopp?

Maybe I'll leave the first competitive game until after Palace?

Kane is the type of bloke who will want to be the one who scores the first PL goal and first CL goal.

It’s the kind of thing he loves chasing...that’s a good thing btw

Cannot wait to hear from people how new WHL really is.
I expect golden rays of sunlight to hit the top of the south
stand at exactly 3pm.

Oh rcl : HOW COULD YOU !!?? :)

< who did not eat all the pies >

Seriously...that what Mrs RCL said when I rang to tell her ?

The last time I was here was the finale match...I lost her annual travel card that day <laugh>
Thought she was gonna beat me senseless ... took her an age to sort it...so all in all it could have been worse...

That's what I am telling myself <laugh>

On the upside...there are free water fountains so at least I can get a drink!

Honestly can not believe how fantastic this is.

In fairness...it's saved me from making my large arse into a hugely large arse <laugh>
Well, unless they are selling liver, onions, mash, peas and gravy before the match and injura and addess afterwards, I will still be eating in my favourite greasy spoon cafe and my favourite Ethiopian restaurant anyhow, I can pay cash in both of them. I would have been tempted by the Cheese room, but that's another story.
