It’s the American way. <ok>

That's sort of what I was looking for when I found the other site. Nearest figures I found were 2015, but they said for every one American killed by terrorists 1000 died from domestic guns. I wondered how that panned out globally, but it suggests you're more at risk in the US than Syria.

So long as the NRA keep telling the country that the only answer to people with guns is more guns, then nothing will ever change.

Are those for just the year stated. I can't imagine war would be that low otherwise.
It's per year. Different years for different causes as I imagine the latest data is different.
All the expenditure to avoid terrorism is NOT justified. Particularly as some of it just shifts the problem from one group of victims to another. eg make it hard to blow up planes and buses and trains get blown up instead.

3 people confirmed killed now.

Some is justified imo such as domestic and intelligence led. But the billions funding military action abroad is largely bollox and imo making the problem worse.

They're looking for a Turkish guy and they've said there's been shootings at several locations...

You ever thought that its because of the funding that they are able to prevent way higher atrocities?
