And of course EU Operation Fear is to be believed whereas in this country it's just hype put out there by moaning Remoaners. If you really believe that the world can be divided into patriots and traitors, good guys and bad guys, those with white hats and black hats, good luck with that theory. I give you one thing which has up till now been acknowledged by most as a universal truth. All politicians lie and prevaricate when asked to answer a straight question truthfully and accurately. Am I wrong about that?

. So Treason May is threatening MP's saying back my deal or it's long delay and probably no Brexit. That will go down Well?
. Fox is deluded and starting to P me off by saying not to get rid of May and the last thing we need is a GE... Five minutes after he watched a clip from Tory supporters saying they want May out and they are not being listened to.
. I find out today that all the negotiating team from Robbins and the officials are all Remainers and don't believe in Brexit. <doh> Says it all. Complete stitch up.
. Jezza is doing his usual by playing games... Today he has hinted at a no confidence vote in May (the word was 'could'... which means nothing <doh>). Or put her deal through and then ask the people? 2 completely different ideas. The bloke not only has a problem with Jews but is a ****ing idiot. He will never be PM.

Hopefully we may all see an end to Brexit and get on with some important issues within our country. However I see this dragging on for some time. <yikes>

On that note I have decided to retire from this thread. What started off as a bit of fun has ended with just insulting each other. It was always going to be divisive but for me has become too personal. When you have posters who you have known for years on here and generally agree with, spend 3 days insulting you because you disagreed with them on something, really says it all. Especially when they take that grievance on to the match day thread... WTF? Maybe it is just them and they can't differentiate between the two but that is not what I come on here for. I am no saint but when people get nasty and make remarks about family/education/work you have to think is it all worth it? Answer was no.

From now on I will be concentrating on my team because that's why I come on here to discuss QPR. The only thing I will miss about this thread is the amount of postings. I may have to get my quoter on the music thread:1980_boogie_down:

Do you mean me Ellers ? If so just be a man and name me, eh.....
This is the way I see it.....you obviously got the hump ‘cos I pulled you up about your rudeness to another poster.....the next day when I made a comment about Farage you started looking for a row.....which I duly gave you which descended, in the end, to childish insults.
I don’t come out of this with any distinction and in fact look quite horrible at times but I honestly feel some of what I said was only ‘light ribbing’ and you, I feel, have given out far worse to others.....I’ll live with that and look at my future conduct on this board.
We might meet in the future, we might not.....however I bare you no ill and apologise to all for anything I said on a public forum that might of led to upset or distress.
Have a good day chaps (and chapette)

Such a divided world. International divide, good guys and bad, national divide, rich and poor, black and white, Muslim, Jew, gay, trans, leave or remain, left or right.

Division is important for this control system to work. Keeps everyone looking for an enemy, or moreover, looking at the enemy described to us by a media that will report the Christchurch attacks for days, whilst ignoring the massacre in Yemen, using weapons sold from the UK, or at best, describing it as a war.

Whatever you think about brexit, doesn't it tell you one thing? Democracy is a myth, the illusion of choice, we matter not, nor our majority wishes.

We won't leave, I've thought that for some time, it was never an option, never allowed.

Imagine the power of coming together, identifying the real enemy and finally doing something about it.

Thanks for your honest comments Staines and echo most of them (although your explanation about pulling me up/Farage/hump are wrong). :emoticon-0100-smile I do agree that we can all be a bit silly at times and P people off. However It was a good post. :emoticon-0148-yes:
    so...
For the avoidance of doubt I am quitting this thread not because of any individual but for a number of reasons. I feel the debate like Brexit has come to an impasse. I posted the other day and thought I had said that before... which I had. <doh> The whole thing seems to be going around in circles and like in life it starts to get nasty. I enjoy a good 'ding dong' of a debate and thrive on being called 'Tory boy', 'muppet' and all the other stuff. However It stops when I believe it gets personal. That line was crossed and certain comments to me were 'below the belt'.

On the contrary to what some believe I would never leave a debate because I got the hump or feel I am somehow losing an argument....not me I will always defend my corner. I have debated enough on here for people to know that. :1980_boogie_down:
However this thread has taken up too much of my time and I didn't want people thinking I just threw my toys out of the pram and walked away. I would rather concentrate on how crap my team have become. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Those putting out fear in the UK have an obvious motive. To stop Brexit, or at least, a no deal.

Those in the EU are all united as one. All you Remainers have been telling us that for two years.

I see that fat, arrogant slug Lammy has managed singlehandedly to lose at least £8 million Comic Relief money for poor kids in Africa. Still, he's ok, the lardy ****.

Interesting point Goldie......but do you think it was his comments alone that caused a fall in donations ? (Genuine question).
Personally I don’t give on the night to comic relief anyway but usually the kids schools have some kind of ‘event’ going, so I end up donating some way or other.
Yeah I think there are some who might say, ‘**** it I ain’t giving nothing to them lot ‘cos of that black politician fella’ (double negative put in for effect), but might it not also be due to the vast amount of charities that are in need of our cash (£3 a month anyone ??) and the fact that we all are having to tighten our belts a bit more.

People have been stuck with the white saviour label, and have decided not to give, Stainsey. The money's way down on last year. Lammy had no right to speak for those deprived kids out there. Let them and their communities speak for themselves.

Totally get that and I absolutely agree....but that wasn’t my point.
Just I can’t see the blame is totally at that idiots door......but more to do with the, it seems, countless charities that need our ‘£3 a month’.

Normally the amount collected by Comic Relief increases year on year. It seems to be generally accepted by the media that this exception is down to the Lammy negative factor.

As far as I am concerned Lammy should make it make it his personal mission to go out to Africa to speak to some of those rich black saviours out there to make up the shortfall. People give because they see others in desperate need - whether they are black or white. Since when has it become a race crime to raise some publicity for the problems in the world caused by poverty and famine?

All we've been doing it is doubting what you say and telling it as it seems to us. Looks like we were right. But no doubt there will be lots of headlines again when the next Euro elections are held showing the march of the Far Right and the imminent breakup of the EU. Perhaps by then May will be on her 6th or 7th attempt to get a majority for her deal. Hope not.
