Nah I've held a mirror up to DMD and that's enough, and that's all I wanted tbh.

I must be a vampire or you've got the mirror wrong way round, as I'm not on show in your mirror, but your hypocrisy is.

Those blaming Trump because the scum bag mentioned him, generally fail to blame Allah when other scum bags cite him as their justification.
Is Allah a person who can be questioned about his statements?

Trump talked about the potential for right-wing violence, as he has done on various occasions in the past.
Someone who agreed with him killed 49 people the next day.
Trump deleted a tweet linking to his article at Breitbart making those comments.
Not only is that potentially a crime in itself, rather bizarrely, but it seems that he believes there's a link, doesn't it?

No I know he does that, he hasn't too often with me tbf. Oh well...

Only you don't 'know' that. You just know it's one of tedious Stan's fantasies. Still, it got you out of answering. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Personally, I think it's a false comparison. Allah in Islam or God in Christianity don't cite or espouse to a hatred of any humans. He's supposedly created everyone in his own image ffs <laugh> The fact that scumbags twist it do so, is their problem. Trump specifically does cite or espouse to a hatred of muslims. But my overall point is even IF you believe Allah does do that, you can't pick and choose -- you'd have to apply the same to the Christian God when some extremist Christian does the same, Trump in this instance, Jehovah the Jewish God (think that's right), Shiva the Hindu God, when one of their followers does the same.

Which is pretty much what I've said for quite a while, but you hold some to different standards if it doesn't suit your argument. What some describe as 'anti-islam' is more 'anti-religion' but some seem to want to single one religion out and make it just about that for their own reasons. When I see people try to hide behind claims that the other person is anti-islamic, or racist, it just looks like they've seen the flaw in their position to me.

I never see it applied as anti-religion on here by those who bang on about anti-muslim rhetoric tbh (not you necessarily) but if you say that's how you feel then fair enough. I've also included Trump in that which was my original point to you. He also is then open to criticism in just the same way. Appreciate the answer btw. In that post I have given my reasons why I feel Trump deserves it and religious dieties don't, and that hopefully answers your question.

Right wing violence!!
Terror?
Strangely enough I've just left a day/night out because of a family member saying it's only retaliation !!!

You're such a ****ing plum. You've walked away from a night out with family because somebody has said that?

Snowflake. That really is pathetic.

I think that there's plenty to criticise about the various religions and I've done so on here.
There's a distinct difference between being critical of Islam, Christianity and Judaism and slagging off Muslims, Christians and Jews, though.

Whilst I agree in principle, I don't believe any religion seeks to support the killing of any innocent human life. So when ppl "criticise" a religion by claiming any such thing, I find that disingenuous - part of a separate agenda imo. I'll happily criticise other aspects of them though <ok>
