I read the book.

Spoiler Alert

I do wonder how sensitively they are going to approach the bit where the negro has to hang from the tree. It's integral to the storyline so I don't think they can skip it but I am sure scenes of a dark person being nailed to a tree will cause consternation amongst some viewers.

So did I. Actually, I stopped reading it about a quarter way thru. Pish.

You are not obliged to watch it Allan. Just put your finger on that button and turn it...

Expected better of it when I seen the cast even though it's based on a ****e book by a largely ****e writer. Disappointed.

Book was great read it about 15 years ago

Shadow reappears in a few short stories set in Scotland and England. Fragile Things collection is one.

Series was great. Loved Peter Stormare in it.
