Fair enough. My actual point though was genuine surprise that you were consulting spurs fans for their views on appointing Maureen as manager without expecting the flack that has since followed. For me it indicates that you are either out of touch with football (i.e. disregarding the fact that he is a washed out failure who can't even buy success with an open cheque book his methods are so prehistoric), or that you asked the question with the intention to stir the hornet's nest; otherwise known as a wum. Maybe it's just me but I just can't fathom how a Spurs fan could see "are you up for Mourinho as our manager?" as a good conversation opener.
This will be the first season a Klopp Liverpool side finishes above a Pochettino Spurs side. Surprisingly, Klopp spent a lot more money than Pochettino this season. Funny that, eh?
They've a LOT more chance of making top 4 than we have this year and it's this year which matters and not the previous 4.
I did NOT intend to stir up a hornet's nest nor was I attempting to provoke C Kane. Not all Spurs supporters think alike do they?
It is better than finishing below them. Do you not have any Goon fans among your family or work colleagues
That's a distinct possibility yes but they're not losing to the likes of Burnley are they? We should have beaten Burnley regardless of the fact that we hadn't spent any money as we should have beaten Southampton. You CANNOT use lack of spending as an excuse to have been beaten by Burnley.
No. Of course it's better than finishing below them but it shouldn't be used as a benchmark for success. I've read "Would you prefer to win the FA Cup or finish above Arsenal?" Oh come on.
One CL final appearance, and currently on schedule for his first PL finish above Spurs in his nigh on four seasons as Poool manager. Is that what I am meant to be looking at, or have I missed something ??
I think Klopp has Liverpool playing like their old teams.Run,run, run until your legs drop off. Well,it seems to be working. I can't see Spurs players running themselves to death....can you?
You do realise no one has a divine right to win any game? Crystal Palace went to Man City and won. Pool drew at home to Leicester, we beat Leicester in our equivalent fixture. Ultimately it's over the course of a season that matters not just one or two games and Liverpool gave themselves a greater chance of doing better because they spent a fortune on their squad. Klopp hasn't bettered Poch through skill this season, he's bettered Poch because he has a better set of players to choose from thanks to spending £160m in the summer to Poch's £0m.
I know no team has a divine right but Burnley have lost their three matches since us and leaking eleven goals in the process. We managed one goal against them and the reason? Well, you know my thoughts. I also think Klopp's a higher profile coach than Poch and better.
The reason is we played poor and they played better. Palace beat City 3-1 at the Etihad, then drew at home to Cardiff and lost away to Chelsea... There's no pattern to the results in the Prem. Just greater chances of success which City/ Pool currently have due to spending a small fortune on bringing in top quality players. Klopp is of higher profile thanks to his time in Germany but since moving to England, just like Pochettino, he's won nothing and yet the past four years he's also finished below Poch. The first year he's set to finish above Poch is after having spent £160m on his squad whilst Poch spent zero on his. One team greatly strengthened, the other didn't.
Ok, so the defence failing to do their jobs is Kane's fault. Gotcha, all makes perfect sense now. **** Harry Kane and his **** defending!
NO, we'd have been a greater attacking threat as we were when he was out injured, why the hell can't you see that? We'd have EASILY gone 2 up and killed them off.
