I agree but that's the whole point. We were static, they weren't. They defended better than we did and were more fluent and productive going forward. They were better than us.

Yes, more pace going forward, better at running off the ball giving opportunities for quick passing and flick ons. We could easily have conceded a few more, some poor last balls and one particularly selfish bit of play when other players were better placed saving us. They gave the ball way less as well. Norwich don't look great at the back though. If they do go up they will struggle badly if they don't spend a lot of money. Which I doubt they will. So will most likely come straight back down,

We played a strange game. Pressing in attacking areas and not in defensive areas. Only ever going to end one way employing those strange tactics.

Ridgewell is worse than Sonko. Only Ehab to blame.

I thought I wanted Kane for next season but I’ve changed my mind. Two new full backs please. What’s Roland Edge doing maybe him on a free Ehab?

Well that was cold, and ****, not sure how we only lost by 1 in the end can't really pick out anyone as having had a good game but a few had stinkers tonight, esp on right side of our defence.

A sensible amount spent in the January window could have seen us comfortably in the playoffs.

Would be interesting to see the cost of Norwich's team tonight and their wages. The two who scored cost them less than £4million. Theybalso have a lot of loan players.Sheff Utd have an even cheaper team with lower wages,

On Ridgewell, other than being really slow, which isn't his fault, I thought he was comfortably our best defender tonight, Kane had an utter mare, Burke contirbuted to 2 of the goals, Lichaj was poor, which is forgivable as playing on the wrong wing is a mind **** at best. Ridgewell was the only one consistently looking for the ball off Marshall

Couldn't watch todays game as Tigers TV was off due to Sky. But 6th place still looks open with Derby and Bristol slumping and we have a series of winnable games against bottom 6 teams coming up. Get De Wijs back in at CH, leave Ridgewell in the stands, start Pugh every game, leave Henriksen on the bench (he's out for the next 2 games anyhow) and we can win six out of nine, starting with next four (QPR (h), Ipswich (a), Reading (h), Wigan (h) ..12 points.

It's the hope that kills you. Even 6 wins from the last 9 is relying on several teams failing to get 13 from 9 or 10 games.

Or even just signing a couple of semi competent central defenders that aren’t permanently injured.
No, you need 5 consistent and competent defenders who aren't permanently injured to get through a season. Some defensive pairings will have played together for years in the championship. That area has been shambolic all season and has actually cost us

It sounds like the score flatted us, Norwich, by all accounts the far better team and deserved their win.

As mentioned even though we are losing we are still in slight touching distance of the playoffs, a couple of home wins and results going our way, who knows what can happen. Unlikely, but I guess it keeps the interest going a bit longer.

Pugh sounds a class act, sign him up, but there again we are talking about Ehab here, he doesn't do sensible.

My suggestion of 2 defenders was 2 in addition for the January window. To add to the semi fit 4 central defenders we already have. Ridgewell alone was adequate cover (ish) but it needed another match ready player.

A word Adkins uses is ‘robust’ players! I think that’s a word that would be the last that springs to mind when describing most of our squad.
