This idea has cropped up on another thread, and seems worthy of its own...in a strange way. Could he be a right hand version of Bale in the making? ...cue tumbleweed.
IMO, give him a go in the cups. He has the right attributes, and if it's any help I converted him to RM/W on FM - worked a treat.
Isn't that just like Spurs, we turn Danny Rose a midfielder into our back up for Benny and now we are thinking of Walker as a back-up for Aaron!!! Square peg, meet round hole. Although Walker and Bale as wingbacks with a three man defense..... hmmmmmm
i don't think kyle walker has that burst of acceleration harry favours in the wide areas. brilliant rb lets not **** **** up.
Nah, I like the idea of both Walker and Rose being our new breed of wingbacks, bursting from defence to rip new holes for unsuspecting opponents. Not that they'd be so unsuspecting for very long, of course.
It's worth adding that Naughton has played on the wing for Norwich this season - even though we should be begging Norwich to give him a full season at left back, because we still don't have any cover there (even though Bassong potentially could, he never seems to get games out there)
I thought Arry thought that Bale would eventually end up as LB.I would love to see him there as he´s much better coming from the deep(just improve the defensive side of game).OODB,it would be great to see the 2 as wingbacks, scare the hell out of most defences.
