Brendan Rodgers Quit Celtic to join Leicester City which is not a bad move for him and it takes him away from a team that you and me could manage and get results....He will have to work now at a job he is good at to win games and not like at Celtic where he virtually only had to turn up to win.......Mind you he has probably been offered a shed full of money and a contract with Walkers Crisps with Liniker....<laugh>

Ambition overcoming security.

Kudos to him for taking the plunge back into the limelight of English football. He could have remained in his comfortable role at Celtic where he was almost hero worshipped. Now, of course, the lunatic Celtic followers hate him, just as many who post here did, and still do, when he left to join Liverpool. It's what they do best - hate !

He was a very positive influence whilst at Swansea City, and was instrumental in getting the Club to the top Division. Sadly, the unforgiving will wish him nothing but bad luck, but I wish him well.

Interesting to note, Dai, that you and I are the only ones posting about Rodgers and his move to Leicester.

Morons R Us, and the newly formed Verminators will take this as confirmation that you are definitely me, or that I am definitely you. On the other hand.... <laugh>

Brendan is a legend for what he did at Swansea and i hope he does well at Leicester.....He won't find it easy though after Celtic and the poor leagues they have in Scotland....There is not much competition for Celtic or Rangers really..

Vetch - whilst I read (most if not) every thread, I don’t comment on every thread <cheers>

For what it’s worth, if I’d wanted to contribute, then I’d have said a decent move for Brendan (& Leicester) albeit with an attendant degree of risk.

Anyway, I’ve now commented <laugh>

Good for you Taff, but watch out for the snakes in the grass. Nasty "vermin"ous creatures, who will now have a congregational hissy fit. See what I did there ? <laugh>

ALL managerial changes come with inherent degrees of risk. Rodgers is no different to anyone else, other than that many on here hate his guts. Mind you, they also hate, Martinez, Sousa, Laudrup, ( not everyone does ), Monk, Bradley, I could go on, but space won't allow me the luxury of indulgence. <laugh><cheers>

The only surprise is the timing of his departure, I can understand why the Celtic fans are miffed with the run in starting there!

He left with the best wishes of everyone. The reason why he was 'hated' as you put it is the fact that he deliberately derailed the Gylfi deal which was almost completed. He stabbed us in the back on Gylfi.

Come on mods relegate this vegetable troll to where he belongs please!!!...................................<laugh>

Just read this load of tripe. <laugh>

" He left with the best wishes of everyone ". Then he was the only person to ever receive such favoured treatment.

Sadly, the resident haters hate being reminded just how hateful they have been down the years, and will continue to be so, as it's all they really know how to be. It's all down to a lack of breeding.

They are very fair in their distribution of their hatred, however, since EVERYONE who has left has been given the same treatment, be they Managers, players, players girlfriends , players families, 606'ers with opposing viewpoints, etc.,etc. <laugh>

My I suggest you stay on the Barnsley board, , the next four words thread appears to be well suited for your limited intellect , and there's no bogey men on there to upset your sensitivities ,so a win win for all <laugh>

There is a huge element of the Groovy Gang on here against individuals and i let it go over my head now ever since i brought it up 3 or 4 years ago....I'm much to old to partake in such nonsense today.....If i say something that i read elsewhere and the Groovy Gang try to belittle me then i dont care as i am the only one that counts at the end of the day and what others think is irrelevant to me...<laugh>
