I'm just glad he'll be available for the final. He's the kind of player you want for the big occasion and he's our captain.
I can;t find anything about the Wycombe lad at all. Probably thought they'd wait until our outcome to decide and, as Honeyman is banned, they decided against it - let us spend the money going to the regulatory committee!! I'm over the moon he can play at Wembley but completely confused. Power missed 4 matches for his first red including one Checkatrade game. He then missed 5 for his second red including a Checkatrade game - they said it was because his ban was in place when the game occurred but didn't count towards his ban due to the U23 teams involved in the tournament not being first team players so they couldn't be banned (or something like that) Can;t understand how this is any different other than the fact that all of the U23 sides are gone now (only due to not being good enough, no other reason). Wonder if it'd have been different if there was an U23 side in the final!
I only skim read it but I think Ross was saying that they were reviewing the rules on it while he was waiting for the verdict on Honeyman.
Yeah it did - still makes no sense but it's certainly good that he's available. Think he's an important player for us but goes largely unnoticed as he a worker
It's called a mid tournament rule change - perfectly acceptable for an organisation that just make up the rules on the fly
It was all handbags anyhow, they should be done for the tackles putting at least 3 of our players out. If they had playing Man c there would have been total coverage in every paper about Wycombe the next day.
