Maybe you'd prefer him to play hot potato with it or constantly pass backwards. You know, another Hendo, Milner, etc
Its still only hertha berlin.... the lads been injured over the and you've been quite strong on LFC senior players who've been injured.... he's been injured for more than 50% of his LFC career. he's played what i'd call 14 actual games (most 90mins) 1 short sub game and missed 10 games through injury there. so he's done ok... but i can't tell what level that is based on that record. For cardiff he played but then got dropped in the run in... that was warnocks choice and a big reason imo why the player didn't want to return there.. thats fair enough i suppose.
no. I'd like him to know what he is going to do with the ball before he gets is and pass it in a timely fashion. Its pretty simple to play one touch when the time is right and hold the ball when you need to. Being strong on the ball is a good thing as i've said. holding the ball for no reason and doing nothing with it by the end is not. If you seriously look he's hogging it and ending up playing sideways while teams are fully set given the time he's giving them. Fabinho may have no legs but he gets his head up.
I've lost count of the times i've looked at him saying just pass it there and he's carried the ball virtually on top of the guy he could just have passed to.
I haven’t seen him play - just going by reviews from people who do watch him and he’s been one of their best players. Fair point on injuries. With the exception of Ox, pretty much all of the signings under Klopp have a good injury record. However, I do think he has potential to become a good midfielder. Would like to see him back.
my only issue with the lad is he didn't get to the speed of the prem IMO, the loan to cardiff was supposed to help him do that but then he was sent out the hertha as well.. So who knows unitl he's seen play for us.
Thats make 4 no 6s including the 42mil buy. henderson grujic, fabinho and wijnaldum. The lad has talent though, it just shows how a big bit of luck is needed to get the chance to break through.
Hmm it’s funny how this come out after Karius is taking the club to court for not paying his salary for past 4 months.
