I would think the wind would affect a team that went long with the ball much more than one that relied on precise close passing so you could be right if it stopped you kicking it to the fast lads.
De Gea blames the wind for the difference with the actual score, says he was blown to the side just before each shot was taken
Don't know mate I don't do stats, I only know the two I posted because they shown them on Sky. What were the ones you ask about, if anyone would know it would surely be you or Jimmy
Well if you go by xG you should have lost to Palace and Spurs so you're still ahead compared to the alternative league
I watched the match too. Strange performance I would say. The first half hour you were very subdued. No dynamism and passes going astray. Classical after the Lord Mayor Show performance. Then you woke up after going 1 down. You did create some chances but the accuracy wasn’t there. Rashford was under par as was Matic and Pogba. Lukaku should have scored at least once but squandered his chances. May be a draw would have been fairer but you did get 3 points when you should have got one on many occasions and Arsenal didn’t deserve to lose last time round. Fascinating fight to get 2 CL places between 4 teams in prospect.
Did you miss the bit where Ole said we have won some we shouldn't have? The man is honest, genuine and passionate. Not at all like your man The wind was strong The grass was too long The grass was too dry They had lots of injuries that disrupted our rhythm It was raining very hard
Just watching yesterday’s motd. Pickford How the ref didn’t send him off for the pen is a joke, but then he handed them the first 2 goals after just letting them go straight grouch him... he’s had a shocker of a season after the Priae he got at the WC
TBF the ball (and Rondon) were going well wide so not a great goal scoring opportunity and although I only saw it once, I think there were defenders getting back between ball and goal.
Dont agree but even ignoring all that, it was a tackle at waiste height so even then it’s dangerous play.
So you’re using XG to prove your point? Bit hypocritical really given you instantly dismissed it when I raised it earlier this week.
The only thing I'll say about the Utd Vs Gooners it's that it was boring as ****. There are probably stats to back that up somewhere or to disprove it even.
so.... the Birmingham fan might get jail and the club a points deduction. but... the arsneal fan who did it later in day who I presume knew full well what occurred and the condemnation resulting... what should he get... and what should arse am get?
until we know for sure what the facts are, can't base anything on assumptions. i have heard in the villa game that a steward tripped up the player as well, don't know if this is true or not though. club should be relegated if they have fans and stewards who attack people.
