Thought we played well first half and then dropped a bit 2nd half but still had the positions to add more.
Thought MOTM was between Lala, VVD , Mane with honourable mention for Fab.
Salah got in good positions and somehow never personally ended up with anything often due to a poor touch though was involved in couple of goal where as Firm grabbed a pair but overall was poor .
Thought TAA had a shocker & Gini was fairly invisible.
Overall quite happy with that just need win 8 more like it.

It is the same as the goal milestone at the end of last season, he is trying too hard to score.
Firminos second goal I was screaming at him to square it to Mane, he was clearly going to take it on himself. We got lucky that it fell to Firm
A good win after going a goal down to one of the worst ref decisions this season. How the linesman missed the foul is beyond me. Although we won I thought a lot of our first touches were poor, especially Firminho and Salah
Bobby or Mane for MOTM. And Salah had a hand in all 3 goals. Good to see them clicking.

Regarding Salah. There is no doubt that he’s taking an extra touch and has lost his clinical confidence in front of goal. He probably could have scored 5 in the last 3 games.
Thing is though he’s still being double, treble marked out of games and this is creating space for others. When he is one on one, he invariably has his opponent on toast and today’s equaliser showed that....so for me, despite his lack of form in front of goal, he still gives us a great outlet that creates chances. Can be frustrating sometimes though.

I’ll admit, he was good. He wasn’t completely useless. But saying he was amazing and MOTM is just over the top, but it’s the usual reaction when an English fan favourite puts in just a decent performance. Such low expectations.
Was that a barbed compliment? I thought that he was exactly what we needed in that position so there are no negatives from me. I agree though, he was good but not motm.
I don't think people will get over excited by lalas performance, he played well, but more importantly he provides something to the team that nobody else does.
We looked alot better going forward with him providing a link between attack and midfield.
Plus when we are around their area he is happy to join in, which is something we severely lack with the usual three.
There's not a lot to say on Van Dijk that hasn't already been said on here, but I've got to say, I've never seen a defender churn out week after week the flawless performances that he puts in, he's just in another level, out of all our players I enjoy watching him play the most, he just mops everything up, even in difficult situations he just seems to breeze out with the ball. Ridiculously good.
