All falling apart, which is what happens when you go out and park the bus at a place like this. Even the starting line up sent out the message of what was to come - like lying on your back with your legs in the air saying 'please don't hurt me too much'.

Giving the goal was akin to watching an octopus escaping from a jar and swimming off into another and closing the lid behind it.

The professionals who assess refs. have told my commentators that the ref got that first goal wrong.

FT 3-1 - first goal City have shipped in a while so that's a feather in our cap.
    GD limited!
Far better performance than at Liverpool, a good team effort by manager and players imo. Great to see change in game plan when City had a commanding lead so we made a game of it.
Until the next time, tx for your company all.

“We play a very good first half. Collectively a very good performance. I think everybody has seen what happened, I never criticise the referees and I’m not going to do it either. There is position and influence, and I think it is clear. I have confidence in all of our players, I know they are able to compete with other teams. Now we have to play eight games more in the league plus a cup quarter final. It is important that they are ready. We did our best.” Javier Gracia

Really - a routine 3-1 home win for the Champions ahead of some big results for the relegation battles?

They won't even discuss the first goal that much - I think our players and Javi were actually appealing for handball more than offside.

I guess we've had some decisions go our way against lesser teams and typical we play a top 6 side and it doesn't.

Least no-one got sent or injured.
