Did not even know they were playing! Frank is under massive pressure I think. His team have really fell apart the past few months!
But should he? 3/4 of a season for an inexperienced manager. Surely Derby must view it as a longer term appointment. In fairness, Derby slump in February every year, so business as usual. He needs a chance as Farke did to evolve his squad to what he needs. Speaking to a couple of Derby fans last night, they say that it has been the loss of 2-3 key players that has suddenly meant that they can no longer play the way he wants them to effectively. He like us could build squad depth in the summer to have a proper tilt at promotion next season. ...............If given the time. Bah!
^^ One concurs with the above content^^ Hands up who, with hindsight, is glad they took Bradders J. off us for around £6m?
I'm not wholey convinced it was definitely a good move still. He hasn't pulled up trees for them, but football is littered with players who didn't quite fit in with their new club. Bradders might have continued with us on the high performance level because we were able to get the best out of him. We could have used his fire and all action displays that following season. As an example look at Holt before and after us, right club right time. Twas good money for him though, so whilst I was disappointed to see him go at the time. It wasn't bad business. Bah!
And Pukki, for that matter. Celtic fans haven't a decent word to say about him and his time there - whereas Norwich fans have a different tale to tell. And in the future, who knows but unlikely he'll be this prolific again.
IMO, the ability of DF and his coaching staff to revitalise the career of ‘failed’ players is akin to ‘turning lead into gold’ and long may it last and I wonder who SW has got lined up next. I really don’t see any NCFC players WANTING to leave at the end of this season, but IF they did, what would Pukki/Bendy be worth – I would hazard a guess at a combined value of £40M – to £50M, but that pales into insignificance compared to a season in the PL Edit - Re Frank Lampard’s Derby County – he might fare better if he actually signed players instead of using loans. I know he definitely has Mount from Chelsea and Wilson from Liverpool and I’m sure there is a least one other. Edit - Tomori from Chelsea.
So, that's Dortmund, Real and PSG out of this year's Champion's League. C'mon Spurs!!! I wonder if Spurs will face ManUre in the next round?? #notsuggestingafix
Looks like no favours from Rotherham this weekend, hopefully they're as generous in a week's time. Bristol Vs Leeds later today!
whats he using for his stream? much as i love watching a man film his TV and argue with his girlfriend about the fair distribution of the financial burden of dinner arrangements, i could happily skip the window dressing and just watch the match if poss!
