Oh come now, lets not pretend Spurs have any power over west ham. If they sold you a player Levy would be remortgaging about six condos. Never going to happen, Defoe is still fresh in their minds, and lets be brutal, they are more likely to spunk the money than you.
But, nice posturing mate. <ok>

Guessing you're misunderstanding the point about nicking him before he signed his new deal, as in he would've been free.

As for Defoe being fresh in their memory, that didn't stop us signing Parker a good few years later.

But good effort mate <ok>

Thanks mate, it's nice that you won't begrudge us the win.

Was actually gonna be going myself but my cousin begged for my ticket as he's got a few mates that are going and seeing as most of my lot didn't fancy it I thought I'd be Mr nice guy, good gaff your place though, one of my favourite away days.

Only cos you normally win <laugh>

It's been a lovely away day for most teams for the past 2 years.

There's another one who was our record signing for a while. Probably.

Haha fair point. Although we enjoy the day out in general, usually go to that Yates/ Spoons that's next to the Slug & Lettuce. Like the ground as well, always had a good view.
