VAR is supposed to overrule clear and obvious mistakes. That wasn't one.
They're not using it consistently and that's one of the big issues that I have with it.

I hate that ****. He stole a living from United and thinks he was treated badly. He looked gutted. To be fair he worked hard although apparently he’s a lazy git for PSG most of the time and the fans don’t like him.
