Generally, those advocating to let kids vote, are the ones that demonstrate that their own understanding of how things run is extremely limited.

To be fair, I got a fair amount of thanks from our board users and the mods for helping make it the busiest board on the forums with about the least number of bans, which can't be a bad thing.

You banned people who hadn’t even posted there because you were paranoid about tags.
 
I don't know any kids that are 15 and 16 who know about politics. It's ludicrous to let them vote. They've got no life experience.

There are people of 18+ who have never left their home town and posh plummy types who have never had to work. Life experience is an impossible thing to judge based purely on age. I’m not saying you know kids (why 15?) who know about politics but it’s silly to suggest none do when plenty will be studying the subject formally and it’s a given that some unquantifiable number will have an interest in current affairs.

My daughter is 14. I see her out with her mates, range from 13 to 16. They've not got a scoobie doo.
