Well it does matter because you’re acting like we wouldn’t have won without them.

Please Gez - stop celebrating mediocrity and let’s move on together. This team can achieve much more once we get rid of the **** bastards.

I want you to be a part of it
As long as you keep wishing players injury, you will have many against your logic. It is true that by ditching the average to good players we have seen an improvement
We need patience though in building the squad. We did our first major overhaul in defence and we can see what that has delivered. Next is we need a player or two to give the front 3 competition as well as an attacking mid. Unfortunately we need one more window

And the club is doing that! But we're not bloody City with their infinite wealth and oil barons cheating sponsorship deals, we can't just flog 8 XI players from the first team or drop them to the reserves and buy 400mill worth of replacement talent. We're building steadily, within our means and quickly at that compared to where we were 3 seasons ago. That's the realism here.

Next season we'll be stronger still and improve further, but right now, our squad is still miles behind and that's the big difference.

This is why I'm perfectly happy with this season, even if we're supposedly 'bottling it' right now as our players grow tired and the squad wears thin.

Our midfield does not create and they do not chip in with goals, henderson has not scored a single goal in over 60 of his last matches..that is simply not good enough at the level we are trying to achieve, you expect one of the midfielders in the team to chip in with at least 10 goals a season. We still have games and city may lose a game or two and if we win the title all will be forgotten. But next season i dont want to see the likes of lallana or henderson anywhere near this team.

Well that went well .
Still not convinced by the subs but they were the managers choice but personally would have left Origi on.
Salah was awful today but still our most dangerous threat only problem being his total lack of "touch".

Welcome to the last 1 hr

So.... let's be a little.... well get over it right?

First off after 20mins this game had 0-0 written all over it.

Everton grew into it and were more positive earlier than klopp, Silva put on gomes, richarldson and tosun. Thats trying to win it.

I still say I do not understand how the he'll they play Walcott over richarldson, he was doing everything you want on the right wing. he's a smart player, strong and a bit nasty. Really good. He changed it for robertson who was run out of it once he came on.

After 60mins lfc were done and it was all everton.

Why was that.

Well...

First off fabinho has to do a huge amount of work, the gaps between players was massive. The front 3 just give it away constantly and had no composure to bring others into the game. Henderson, windy.... they were basically just weak.

After 60mins windy was off for Milner who tried a bit but wasn't getting into game, Henderson's stayed one and just was woeful.

When you are looking for composure and a finish both mane and salah were hugely missing.

City won’t have Fernandinho or DeBruyne for a few weeks. Those are two of their best. Let’s hope some of the teams play against City like they play against us

Bournemouth played like Utd did v us. Never got out of their half. City got the goal.

Everton.. played ok, tried their best. I need to remind people Newcastle beat them.

The reality is we have not scored enough and have not just gone and got that goal.

The only thing keeping us in this is van dij k. He was immense today. Immense.

The rest, Everton ran them off park.

I am worried about next season and its because of this coming summers window. Looks like Citeh are going to face some UEFA punishment, transfer ban looks possible since they've already been sanctioned before. So they're going to spend Big this summer to cover any missed windows they could face, meaning they'll have good (if not excellent) cover for every position. This will make it so much harder for anyone other than Citeh to win the PL next season (and probably a few more after that as well, essentially Citeh are going to turn the PL into the SPL as they win everything for the next few years).

This year could be the last chance we get for a while, despite any incoming players in the next couple of windows.

****ing that was ****, got blown all over on the way back.

Sums up Everton when biggest cheer of the game was when they managed to not get beaten by us at the final whistle.

Got up for their cup final, let’s see what their form is for rest of the season.
The atmosphere was fantastic throughout that’s as loud as it’s been for ages. So we cheered the result knowing it ****s the RS up, and what?

Maybe if you’d ever visited Liverpool you might understand what the rivalry is actually about

No chance of the wind blowing the noise about

Apart from your last two lines spot on
Thought you played well
Only seen you twice this season
Utterly befuddled at your league position
Well done today - think u could have got the win though.
